    all four of them

    Dehla Pakad

    Trick-taking. Capture the four tens.

    4 players · 2 teams

Nobody picks trump — it is set by the first card played off-suit, and only then is the rest of your hand dealt. Capture more of the four 10s than your opponents.

    bid it exactly

    Judgement

Bid your tricks. 8 rounds, one blind.

    3–7 players · solo

Scored individually, no partnerships. Trump rotates every round, bidding is bound by the hook rule, and the final round is played blind.

    always trump

    Call Break

Call your tricks. Spades always trump.

    4 players · solo

Spades are permanently trump, you must beat the trick when you can, and missing your call costs you the whole thing.

    first team there

    Sweep

Capture, build, or discard. First to 100 wins.

    4 players · 2 teams

No trump at all. Match a floor card's value to capture it, build a pile for later, or discard — first team to 100 points wins.

    An account keeps your record

Every finished game is written down: which game, where you placed, how your win rate is moving. Games against the bots count the same as games against people, so you can build a record on your own without waiting for three friends to be free.

The practice hand on this page is not saved — it needs no account, and there is nowhere to save it to.

    How a hand plays out

Dehla Pakad has no bidding and no trump call. The hand is dealt in two parts, either side of the moment trump reveals itself.

    1. 1

      Sit in teams of two

Four players. The two sitting opposite each other are partners — seats 1 & 3 against 2 & 4.

    2. 2

      Take five cards

Only five to start, not a full hand. You bid nothing and choose nothing; you just start playing.

    3. 3

Watch for the first off-suit card

Follow suit while you can. The moment someone cannot and plays another suit, that suit becomes trump for the whole hand.

    4. 4

Take the rest, and the tens

The remaining eight cards are dealt at the end of that trick. From there it is one thing: capture more of the four 10s than the other team.
